Quattro Plant Ltd are recruiting a POS Representative for weekend work and adhoc midweek work.

To be responsible for all POS activities within your working area, with clients of Quattro Group. Applicants must have MC/CC and COSS competencies and have demonstrable experience working around machines on track.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Interface with New and Old clients of Quattro Group on site
  • Attend client production and wash up meetings when required
  • Direct staff on site to their duties (POS Rules)
  • Check all documentation for site and carry out sign off (Acceptance)
  • Interface with Health & Safety Department
  • Planning and Delivery of works relating to POS
  • Interface with Health & Safety Department regarding accident investigation(s)

Essential Skills

  • Approachable and able to relate to people at all levels
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of competence requirements for the rail industry

Quattro Plant are recruiting RRV/Heavy Plant Fitters to join our existing teams in Manchester, Cwmbran, Glasgow, Hatfield and Stratford, SE London.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Undertake the correct and regular maintenance and calibration of all equipment in accordance with instructions
  • Undertake maintenance of hire fleet vehicles as qualified and directed
  • Provide details of engine hours worked information for each item of plant
  • Undertake routine testing of safety-critical systems and equipment as directed
  • Undertake annual inspection of plant equipment without a lifting capability to meet statutory requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive records, both electronically and in hard copy, for each vehicle and item of plant and equipment to demonstrate the performance of all pre-hire checks, routine servicing, statutory inspection and breakdown repair
  • Maintain and inspect lifting accessories to the required standard
  • Report any defect in vehicles and plant and monitor safety performance
  • to suggest suitable modifications to any track plant that may enhance its performance or capabilities

All applicants must:

  • Have heavy plant experience, preferably with RRV’s
  • Have good mechanical engineering skills
  • Be a qualified or time-served diesel fitter
  • Be responsible and accountable
  • Be methodical and have good attention to detail
  • Be a good team player with a can-do attitude
  • Be Polite, customer focused and have the desire to do a good job every day
  • Hold a current driving licence
  • Be physically fit
  • Hold the PTS competence

The ability to operate machines and attachments and have an awareness of the rules, regulations and requirements that are pertinent to plant and equipment used on the railway would be an advantage.

Role Purpose:

To support the hire desk with the day to day administrative duties associated with the running of the Depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering the phone and providing a key point of contact for Clients.
  • Answering a high volume of telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Supporting the hire desk in preparing payroll for operational staff.
  • Completing administrative duties and responding to queries within agreed timescales, identifying the best course of action.
  • Organising and completing timesheets.
  • Processing timesheets and orders for invoicing
  • Supporting in the allocation of work to drivers
  • Data entry onto in house Syrinx system
  • Maintaining the company database and files to ensure data is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Ensure the proper use and care of equipment and materials used in the execution of the role
  • Other general responsibilities (as appropriate to role)

This is a full time role.
