Quattro Leading the Way in Health & Safety with Highways England

16/05/2018

Quattro have signed up to become part of the Highways England Passport Smartcard network.

The smart card is being introduced to improve health and safety for the workforces who are improving the country’s highways.

The smart car known as a “passport” contains an electronic chip that holds a worker's data such as training, skills and anything else that may be needed as part of a Highways project.

Quattro are proud to be one of the first to sign up to this network that will see all persons working on the strategic road network requiring a passport by April 2019.

Ann Harding, Road Services Director at Quattro said “At Quattro we know the importance of constantly improving the health and safety of working on the highways, and this smart card helps to ensure people have the right training as well as holding other essential information, so we can see it being a big benefit to the industry.”
