Great as ever
The Problem
China Construction Bank required a vehicle to ensure a safe and stable base for their impressive float to take part in the three-mile parade through the City of London, from Mansion House to the Royal Courts of Justice.
The Quattro Plant Solution
With around 7,000 people, 70 floats, 200 horses and 140 motor and steam-driven vehicles taking part in the procession, it was vital that Quattro Transport supplied a steady and reliable vehicle to provide the base for the China Construction Bank float. With the entire low loader fleet fitted with enhanced visibility packages, the driver was able to keep a close eye on everything happening around him – very important when you’re being followed by a six-foot panda! Whilst the low loader supplied may not have looked quite as bold as the Lord Mayor’s gilded gold carriage, it’s green credentials are certainly gold standard, with a Euro 6 engines and cutting-edge vehicle design helping ensure that the float minimised environmental impact and increased efficiency.
The Result
The China Construction Bank were delighted with their float, and event was a huge success, drawing crowds thousands from across the world. With a history of over 800 years of history, it was a huge honour to be part of the Lord Mayor’s Show.
