Quattro Group support HS2 Three Peaks Challenge
Quattro Group were delighted to support the HS2 team in their Three Peaks Challenge, in a bid to raise money for London’s New Horizon Youth Centre.
The centre supports thousands of young people who experience homelessness in London, working with them to improve their wellbeing, change their economic circumstances and help them find a home to call their own.
The brave team from HS2 took on the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge in aid of the brilliant cause, trekking the three highest mountains in the British Isles. The challenge sees them take on Snowdon in Wales, Scafell in England, and Ben Nevis in Scotland, with a walking distance of 23 miles and a total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft).
Holly Middleditch, the fundraising manager at the New Horizon Youth Centre is delighted with the funds raised by the team, and sent her thanks, saying:
‘Every year, thousands of young people across the capital become homeless because of family breakdown, domestic abuse, poverty, experiences of violence, or war and persecution in their home country. For as long as young people are homeless and vulnerable in London, we will be on a mission to give their potential a home. Thank you for helping us support thousands of young people experiencing homelessness in London.’
Quattro Group were delighted to pledge £1,000 to this great cause, and wish the HS2 team the very best of luck!
