Quattro Sweeper Division Is Not Only Cleaner, It's Greener
In line with the Paris Agreement, Quattro has joined a leading group of companies to commit to reducing the greenhouse gas emissions and limit global warming to 2 degrees of pre-industrial levels.
‘This is a monumental step forward for Quattro as one of the first sweeper companies to trial alternative fuel’, said Ann Harding, Road Services Director. ‘It furthers our priority and commitment to reduce the Quattro carbon footprint on the roads.’
What is Green D+ HVO Fuel?
Green D+ HVO is a renewable, biodegradable and sustainable fuel which is made from 100% renewable raw materials and is a drop in replacement for diesel. It is an enhancement of HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), a low emission fossil-free alternative that reduces CO2e levels by up to 90% which significantly improves local air quality.
MD John Murphy added,
‘We’re proud to say that Quattro sweepers are now not only cleaner, they’re greener.’
