Team Quattro Takes a Podium Place in World Championship RACE
Steve Kershaw and Ryan Charlwood have secured a championship race win at Automotodrom Grobnik, Rijeka in Croatia, now putting them 3rd overall in the F1 Sidecar World Championship standings.
We caught up with Steve Kershaw fresh from the win on his long drive home through the Austrian Alps.
‘Ryan and I are absolutely delighted with our second world championship grand prix win. The first last season was great but to get the first win "away from home" feels superb.
We have been working really hard on fitness and bike prep which is paying off now.
This win really helps our 2022 championship as we currently hold 3rd place in the world standings.
Next up is Donington Park where we took our maiden win last year so the team are absolutely buzzing to get going again in 3 weeks time!
Massive thank you to John and the Quattro team for the continued support, we are trying hard to make them all proud!’
John Murphy, Quattro MD added, ‘We are thrilled for the lads and will continue to be the wind beneath their wheels. A podium place is well within their grasp - here’s hoping we can all see a flash of Quattro red first past the finish at Donington.’
The thrills continue at round 6 in Donington Park on 15-17 July.
